Sept. 18, 2001The information office of the "Arabic Movement for Change" headed by MP Ahmed Taibi, a representative of Israeli Arabs (in the Israeli Parliament), has confirmed reports that five Israeli citizens are currently under arrest in New York.
They are accused of "showing happiness and celebrating" the attack on the World Trade Center in New York.
The office said in a statement yesterday that political sources at the Israeli Parliament debated this issue two days ago and the Israeli paper Ha'aretz reported it.
Other reports said that around four thousand Israelis, who worked at the WTC, did not come to the building on September 11,the day of the attack, on the recommendation of the Israeli government.
This has raised suspicion by some U.S officials who wanted to know if those Israelis knew in advance that an attack was imminent.
A Lebanese satellite station also quoted sources as saying that there have been no reports about Israelis or Jewish Americans victims at WTC.

というURLではないかと思ってたどってみたらそこに記事はありました。該当の記事かどうかまるでわかりませんが。また、このサイトはInternet Explorer(多分5.5以上)でのみ閲覧可能のようです。

をみつけたので通してみたところ、自動なので出来は悪いですが、木村さんの 転送した英語のメッセージの内容と同じような内容(一部訳しきれてない単語 があるとか、文章がちゃんとつながってないとかあります)があるので、そういう記事がサウジの日刊紙に掲載されたという事実はあるのでしょう(掲載さ れた中身が事実としてあったかどうかまではもちろんわかりません)。
