今年は国家情報局が新設され、スパイ防止法の議論が活性化し、自衛隊は市民の「愛国心」を調査、そして個人保護法が改正されAI開発のために個人情報が使われることが可能に。さらに、私たちが日頃から使うSNSなどのテック企業のほとんどがパレスチナのジェノサイドに加担している現実。そして、パレスチナを実験場にし、情報の軍事利用を進めるイスラエルやアメリカの企業から様々なテクノロジーを買おうとしている日本政府。「情報」をめぐる制度が、追いきれないほどのスピードで動いています。
「自分の情報が、いつ誰にどう使われてるのか、もう分からない…」そう不安を感じる人も多いのではないでしょうか？
では、具体的にどうすればいいのか。できることは色々あります！
自分のデータを守ることは周りのみんなのデータも守ること。「自分のデータの守り方」を一緒に学んでみませんか？

第一部：レクチャー
政府による情報通信への監視や情報収集の強化と通信事業者によるユーザーの動静把握、ジェノサイド加担企業のサービスへの依存の問題など、なぜこのようなイベントが必要だと考えたのかをお話しいただきます。
講師はネットのセキュリティー問題などに取り組む市民団体「JCA-NET」理事のとしまるさん。
第二部：ワークショップ
具体的に何を、どう考え、実践すればいいのか？ワークショップ形式で学びます。
講師はベルリン在住で、デジタルセキュリティを含めた社会運動に広く関心を持ち、草の根で関わるnoriさん。（リモート参加）

There’s more: most of the tech companies behind the social media we use every day are complicit in the genocide in Palestine. Now, the Japanese government is looking to buy tech from Israeli and US firms — ones that use Palestine as a lab to advance military usage of information.
The rules around “information” are moving faster than any of us can track.
“I have no idea when, by whom, or how my data is being used anymore…”
If that unease sounds familiar, you are not alone.
So, what can we actually do about it? A lot, actually!
Let’s learn how to protect our data together.

Part 1: Lecture
From government surveillance and data collection, to how telecom carriers track what we do, to our reliance on services from companies complicit in genocide. Our speaker explains why an event like this feels necessary right now.
Speaker: Toshimaru, board member of the citizens’ group, JCA-NET, which works on internet security and related issues.
Part 2: Hands-on Workshop
So, what can you actually do about it? We’ll work through it together, step by step.
Led by nori, a Berlin-based organizer involved in grassroots social movements, with a broad interest in digital security.
