　An encounter with the film "Buddha Weeps in Jadugoda" gave us an opportunity to know about the disastrous scene of the regidents of Jadugoda. The fund of "Buddha Weeps in Jadugoda" was organised to make a prosecution and to support nuclear victims. And in August 2000, we invited representatives of the regidents to Japan for "speaking tour". There are various problems such as detailed fact-finding with a neutral engine or support with a medical respect. In such a condition, support requests from anti-radioactivity alliance of Jharkhandie to shelter construction for children has arrived. There are many inborn children by obstacle, and so far the orphans with no relatives are increasing in number because many of their parents die young. It is required to make the institution (the shelter) which gives these children a food and a place to sleep. Our plan right now is to build the shelter where the place with out influence of redioactivity, and give all the children a medical care and an education.

It is estimated that 4500000 yen will be needed finally for the shelter construction. Fund gathering had already begun, and intend to begin construction onestep by onestep. If you agree to our activities, please spend a donation from a post office nearby.

A problem of Jadugoda is not known still more in Japan. If you can distribute widely, we will sent you the leaflets about Jadugoda. In addition, the film video of "Buddha Weeps in Jadugoda" is for rent for small screening society or/and learning society.
