These included: * The diversity of NGO representatives which formed and worked to input into the official negotiations on the Beijing+5 Outcomes Document and Political Declaration. *The participation of of young women in the PrepCom. * The imppressive level of cooperation and collaboration between and among NGOs, particularly in contributing and endorsing the NGO lobbying document initiated by the broad-based Coalition of NGOs in Support of the BPFA. * NGOs are now more better positioned to conduct local and national lobbying, despite the fact that the PrepCom has not completed its work. * The NGO Coordinating Committee is committed to sharing information prior to and during the Special Session in June. ======= The dates of the intercessionals of the PrepCom was also announced.
