皆さん、こんにちは。
以下、知り合いの団体の情報を送ります。
★★★「日本について」英語でディスカッション！★★★
主催：特定非営利活動法人 ICYE国際文化青年交換連盟日本委員会
ICYEは、世界35カ国に連盟加盟国をもち（本部：ドイツ・ベルリ
ン）、青年たちの草の根の交流によって世界平和・社会正義の実現に
寄与しようとする国際的な民間非営利団体です。
2003年夏に海外へ派遣される日本人青年や、昨年度より各国から日本
に来日し、日本のホストファミリーに滞在しながら幼稚園、小学校、
環境保護団体、ホームレス支援団体、人権擁護団体などでボランティ
ア活動をしている来日外国人青年と一緒に、「日本について」のディ
スカッションを英語でしてみませんか？皆さんの外国人のお友達もぜ
ひお誘いして下さい！
話あうトピックは、以下の中から時間と参加者の興味によっていくつ
か取り上げる予定です。
１．日本人にとっての「ボランティア活動」
２．日本の「家族観」について
３．日本の若者（青年）について
４．第2次世界大戦と日本について
５．日本の福祉制度について
６．日本の教育システムについて
７．日本の経済不況とそれに伴う社会現象について
日程：7月4日（金） 午後7時〜9時
場所：国立オリンピック記念青少年総合センター センター棟５０３

対象：英語でディスカッションができる方、または積極的に「参加し
よう」という意欲のある方。
＊ディスカッション後は、特にパーティーなどは計画しておりません
のでご了承下さい。

This is to inform you of our event, English discussion with
Japanese and forengin youth. ICYE Federation-International
Cultural Youth Excahnge-has 35 national committees in the
world (the international office is located in Berlin,
Germany), and promotes youth exchange program in order to
contribute to build peace and justice in the world. Japanese
outgoing exchangees are going to work as volunteer in each
country in the field of social work, education, human rights,
environment, and so forth. On the other hand, foregin incoming
exchangees are now doing their volunteer work in kindergarten,
elementary school, free school, Amnesty International or
working with homeless people in Tokyo.
We are planning to have discussion regarding Japan and
Japanese culture. Basically, it is for Japanese outgoing
exchangees and foreign incoming exchangees in the ICYE
program, but we will invite people who are interested in the
discussion.
The topics would include the followings.
1. What is "volunteer work" for Japanese people?
2. What is "family" for Japanese people?
3. About Japanese youth
4. WWII and Japan
5. Social welfare system in Japan
6. Educational system in Japan
7. Economic depression in Japan and its social effects.
